  • About Jo Muir
Jo grew up in Scotland where she tried lots of different sports when she was at school. She couldn't settle on just one sport and started pentathlons at the age of 14. She then moved down to Bath to which enabled her to study at the University of Bath and train at Pentathlon GB's National Training Centre. Jo loves the variety of competing in pentathlons and every training day is different. In 2020 Jo won gold at the World Cup in Egypt and came 4th in the European Championships in 2019. Jo was disappointed with her result at the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games but it has made her more determined than ever to succeed at future competitions.
