Active Kids Grant

Introducing the Sports for Schools Active Kids Grant

What is the Sports for Schools Active Kids Grant?

We are delighted and excited to introduce the new Sports for Schools Active Kids Grant, a £200 grant which we will give to 5 children each term to spend on being more active.

Applications for the Spring 2023 term grants will close on Jan 31st (winners will be notified after February half term).

Our mission has always been to encourage children to increase their levels of physical activity. We do this through inspiring athlete visits to primary schools and now, with the help of the Active Kids Grant, we can continue to help and make a difference to children who need it.

Perhaps you have an aspiring Olympian in your school who needs help to pay for their specialist equipment, or a pupil who otherwise would not be able to afford to take part in any sports clubs.

Who is the grant for?

The grant is for any primary school age child who, without the grant, would be unable to fund their sport or club.

Who can apply?

Any teacher or parent with a primary school age child who falls into the ‘Who is it for?’ category above can apply on behalf of the child.

Can I apply for more than one child?

Yes you absolutely can.

How do I apply?

All you need to do is complete the prompts that should pop up below or you can email [email protected] with your details and those of the child you would like to nominate:

Terms and conditions:

The grant is available for primary school aged children only and is to be spent on sports clubs or equipment (the grant will be paid directly to the provider).
